Privacy Notice

What the extension handles on your device, and what happens if you subscribe to Turbo Mode. Turbo is an optional tier of the same tab-audio product (louder playback and optional shaping)—not unrelated functionality bundled into the extension.

1. Who this notice covers

Tech Product Partners Kft. (“we,” “us,” “our”), registered at 11 Ady Endre utca, Tésa, 2636, Hungary, is the data controller for personal data described in this notice where we determine the purposes and means of processing. This Privacy Notice describes the 600% Sound Volume Booster Chrome extension (“Extension”) and related marketing pages. The Extension is designed to process audio locally in your browser to adjust playback level and (in Turbo Mode) shaping. By using the Extension or our site, you acknowledge this Notice together with our Terms of Service.

If you use the optional contact form on this marketing site, we collect the fields you submit (such as name, email, company, and comments) and append them as a row to a Google Sheet stored in Google Drive (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, as applicable) so we can respond to your inquiry. Google processes this data under its terms and privacy policy as our processor; we configure access via a dedicated service account.

2. Audio and page content

We do not upload your audio streams, recordings, or page content to our servers for storage as part of the core volume feature. Processing occurs locally in the browser context required for the Extension to function.

3. Data stored locally (Chrome storage)

The Extension may store preferences on your device via Chrome extension APIs, for example:

  • Per-site or default boost levels and Turbo-related UI state
  • Equalizer preset and band values when Turbo sound shaping is available
  • Flags related to onboarding, theme, and entitlement cache timestamps

You can clear such data by using Chrome’s extension storage controls or uninstalling the Extension.

4. Optional billing and Turbo Mode

Turbo extends the same core purpose—control of tab playback loudness and (when enabled) sound shaping. When billing is enabled, the Extension loads a third-party paywall or subscription SDK (embedded experience) so you can sign in, subscribe, or manage a trial without leaving the extension UI. In that case:

  • The billing provider may process account identifiers, email, payment details, and transaction records according to its own privacy policy.
  • Sign-in state and subscription status may be reflected in the Extension to unlock Turbo features.
  • Customer portal and support links may open on the billing provider’s domain.

We do not receive your full payment card number on our own infrastructure; card processing is handled by payment partners.

5. Permissions

The Extension requests only permissions needed for audio control, storage of settings, and (where applicable) paywall integration described in the Chrome Web Store listing and manifest. Review the listing for the current permission set.

6. Analytics

This standalone marketing site does not load third-party analytics scripts by default. If you deploy your own analytics on top of these files, update this section accordingly.

7. Children

The Extension is not directed at children under 13. Paid flows should not be used by children without a parent or guardian.

8. International users

Billing and infrastructure providers may process data outside your country. See International transfers under Additional disclosures below.

9. Your choices

  • Uninstall the Extension to stop local processing and remove extension storage (subject to Chrome behavior).
  • Use Customer portal / billing account tools to manage subscriptions when available.
  • Email hello@extaddon.site, or contact support through the Extension footer when billing is enabled.

10. Additional disclosures

Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Where those laws apply, we process personal data on bases such as: contract (providing paid Turbo features and support); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), balanced against your rights; consent where required (for example optional marketing cookies if enabled); and legal obligation where applicable.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact hello@extaddon.site. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to comply with law, or to resolve disputes. Local extension settings remain on your device until you remove them. Billing providers retain transaction and account records according to their own retention policies.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the EU, EEA, UK, US, or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the successor to honor this Privacy Notice or notify you of changes.

California and other U.S. state privacy laws

We do not sell personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Residents of California and other states with applicable privacy laws may have additional rights (for example to know, delete, or opt out of certain processing). Contact hello@extaddon.site to submit a request; we will respond as required by law.

Cookies and similar technologies (this website)

This marketing site is designed to load without third-party analytics by default. If we enable cookies, pixels, or similar tools (for example for advertising or measurement), we will update this section and, where required, obtain consent before non-essential cookies are set. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

11. Changes

We may update this Notice to reflect changes in our practices, the Extension, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date shows when it was last revised. Material changes may be communicated through the site, extension, or store listing where practicable.

12. Contact
